Western Star is a family park.
The Park is located approximately four miles south of Roseburg, OR and approximately 2 mile east of Winston, OR. We are located right off I-5.
Western Star is located close the Douglas County fairgrounds, fishing, restaurants and Wildlife Safari. Wildlife Safari is a World Recognize game park. We are approximately 20 minutes from the Seven Feathers Resort and Casino.
The park has both Mobile and RV sites. The rate for the mobiles includes water, sewer and garbage. The rates for the RVs include water, sewer, garbage and electricity. Western Star has coin operated washers and dryers. There are also restrooms/showers for the RVs. There is also a mini-storage facility on site.
The park is right off I-5 making it convenient for traveling. The freeway exit is easy on and off. We are half way between the coast and Diamond Lake. It is a great central location. You can go play on the beach one day and the next day play in the snow.
We are located in what the locals call the banana belt. The weather always seems to be milder here than any other spot. The summer is always cooler and the winter is always warmer.
The Park has a good mixture of ages. It is a quiet park and everyone is very neighborly.
Western Star is large enough to provide their community with adequate “walking” room for those who are health minded, yet small enough to instill a safe community environment for our families. Located just outside the park are bike/walking paths that parallel highway 99 south all the way into Winston, or lead to the Green Shopping District.
Close by is a stop for the local transit bus. This bus runs from Winston thru Roseburg to the Umpqua Community College. The rates are quite reasonable. Students from the College are able to ride free.
